Job summary

Forgen is seeking a seasoned Project Manager in Baton Rouge to own full project delivery from estimate to closeout. You will lead safety, schedule, cost control, subcontractor management, and client communications to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and profitably.

You will develop execution plans, manage change, handle contract administration, and drive risk mitigation while safeguarding project profitability in a fast-paced geotechnical and civil construction environment across

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent project-related experience.
• More than ten years in heavy civil construction with at least five years in project management and supervision.
• Proficiency with project controls software; strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of safety, codes, standards, and cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own full project delivery from estimate to closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, and profitability.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, cost administration, and revenue recognition for assigned projects.
• Serve as primary client contact and drive subcontractor accountability.
• Develop execution plans aligned to scope, schedule, and risk; manage contract administration and change.
• Direct onsite team, supervise subcontractors, and ensure high-quality production.
• Lead risk management, claims, and closeout activities; ensure documentation integrity.
