Job summary

Forgen is a geotechnical and specialty civil construction company delivering innovative solutions across North America. We seek a Project Manager in Rocklin, CA who will own projects from estimate to closeout, drive safety, schedule, and budget, and serve as the main client contact.

You will lead onsite teams, manage contracts and changes, and ensure profitable outcomes while upholding our values: safety, quality, teamwork, and accountability.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent project-related experience.
• 10+ years in heavy civil construction with at least 5 years in progressive Project Management roles.
• Proficient in project controls software (Excel, MS Project, Primavera P6).
• Strong communication, leadership, and safety-focused mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for company business.

Responsibilities

• Owns full ownership of assigned projects from estimate to closeout, ensuring safety, schedule discipline, and profitability.
• Directs onsite teams and coordinates with clients and subcontractors to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Lead contract administration, change management, and claims negotiations as needed.
• Develop execution plans aligned to scope, schedule, and risk; oversee cost administration and monthly forecasts.
