RESPEC seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager in Sarasota, FL to lead land development projects, manage contracts, budgets, design, workload and permitting, while coordinating with inspectors.

Requirements include a BS in civil or environmental engineering, Florida PE license (or transfer within 1 year), ~10+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD and hydrology software such as StormCAD, WaterCAD, ICPR.

Qualifications

• BS in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field
• PE license in Florida, or ability to obtain/transfer within 1 year of start date
• Approximately 10+ years of experience
• Experience in contract administration, permitting, earthwork, site grading, utilities, stormwater management, roadway design, hydrology and hydraulic calculations, and utility design
• Familiarity with development and design processes that are specific to local geographic markets
• Experience with AutoCAD and various hydrology/hydraulics software, including StormCAD, WaterCAD, ICPR, or similar software packages

RESPEC seeks a Senior Civil Project Manager located in our Sarasota, FL location.

This role involves all aspects of managing residential and commercial land development projects, including contracts, budgets, design, workload, and permitting.Responsibilities include:

• Providingoversight on various construction projects and working with construction inspectors
• Developing and producingconceptual, preliminary, and final construction design drawings
• Assisting with the preparation of construction plans, detail drawings, and project specifications

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• BS in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering field
• Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida, or the ability to obtain or transfer license within 1 year of start date
• Approximately 10+ years of experience
• Experience in contract administration, permitting, earthwork, site grading, utilities, stormwater management, roadway design, hydrology and hydraulic calculations, and utility design
• Familiarity with development and design processes that are specific to local geographic markets
• Experience with AutoCAD and various hydrology/hydraulics software, including StormCAD, WaterCAD, ICPR, or similar software packages

Additional Information

Compensation: Salary depends on experience and expertise. The salary range for this position begins at $125,000. Compensation includes a comprehensive fringe-benefits package. RESPEC is a 100 percent employee-owned company and employees are eligible for participation in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) after a qualifying period.
