Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Vice President, Civil Project Engineer/Manager (PS&E Delivery) to lead Caltrans and local agency projects from our San Francisco office. You will guide the Civil Engineering Transportation team and drive successful PS&E document delivery.

Senior leadership responsibilities include business development, client engagement, mentorship, and ensuring quality, risk-managed project outcomes. Collaboration across offices supports national transportation practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
  • Engineer license required (California preferred).
  • 12+ years of post-education civil engineering experience.
  • 10+ years Caltrans related project experience.
  • Ability to lead and grow civil engineering business.
  • Experience as project manager or lead on projects.
  • Strong leadership and QA/QC adherence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead delivery of roadway, transportation, rail, and transit projects.
  • Manage contract negotiations and project teams.
  • Oversee project financial performance and risk management.
  • Provide leadership to ensure quality PS&E documents and reports.
  • Develop client relationships and pursue new business opportunities.
