Job summary
WSP is seeking a full-time Vice President, Civil Project Engineer/Manager (PS&E Delivery) to support Northern California projects from San Francisco, CA. You will lead the Civil Engineering Transportation team, drive client outcomes, and oversee PS&E and related deliverables.
The role focuses on leadership, business development, and program management within the Northern California District, with travel as needed to deliver complex roadway, rail and transit projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
- California engineer license preferred/required.
- 12+ years of relevant post-education civil engineering experience.
- 10+ years in Caltrans related projects.
- Strong leadership and QA/QC capabilities.
- Experience as project manager or task lead with written proposals.
Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of roadway projects and project teams for Caltrans and local agencies.
- Lead transportation, rail and transit projects for northern California.
- Participate in contract negotiations and manage project financial performance.
- Provide leadership for PS&E documents, engineering reports and project memos.
- Occasional travel may be required.
