Job summary

WGI is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager II with 15+ years of professional experience to join our Civil Engineering team in Jacksonville, FL. The role blends strategic business development with high-level project execution, aiming to grow revenue and strengthen client relationships.

The incumbent will lead market development, manage budgets, and ensure project success while mentoring junior staff and aligning work with corporate strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related field.
• 20+ years of post-graduation experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or other required license.
• Postgraduate business education and/or MBA preferred.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Market services to current and prospective clients to grow the civil practice.
• Coordinate with management, production, and marketing on project specifications and procedures.
• Monitor and assist the team in meeting financial goals and manage the upcoming pipeline of work.
• Recruit team members and oversee development and competence of staff.
• Prepare budgets, bids, contracts, and ensure contracts are established for projects.
• Coordinate with team leaders to build backlog projections for hiring and utilization.

Education

Bachelor of Science in engineering

20+ years of post-graduation experience

Professional Engineer (PE) license

MBA or postgraduate business education preferred

US work authorization (full-time)
