Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Civil Engineering Team Lead for our Jacksonville or Gainesville offices in North Florida. This role will lead a growing team of civil, environmental, and water resources engineers, focusing on site development, infrastructure, and restoration projects.

You will mentor staff, drive key performance metrics, support market expansion, and engage with clients to build long-term relationships while delivering high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental or Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university.
• 10-12+ years of experience on environmental or water resources projects.
• Florida PE license.
• Experience managing projects across planning, design, and/or construction phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead a growing civil, environmental, and water resources engineering team.
• Mentor staff for growth and professional development.
• Drive metrics: utilization, hiring, safety, backlog, and project financials.
• Support market expansion and business development in Florida, Gainesville and Jacksonville.
• Oversee client engagements and build long-term relationships.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for projects.
