This role emphasizes improving workflows, planning day-to-day operations, and ensuring QA/QC. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Professional licensure as a Wisconsin Engineer or ability to obtain within 2 years.
• 8-15 years’ field experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, MicroStation, HEC-RAS, Hydragraphs/Hydraflow, TR-55.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
• Fundamentals of Project Management Training Required.

Responsibilities

• Discuss requirements with professionals and stakeholders.
• Analyze survey, mapping, and materials-testing data with modeling software.
• Oversee and sometimes perform design and modeling work.
• Lead project teams and monitor analysis tools for proposed improvements.
• Ensure drawings and solutions meet local requirements and safety standards.
• Assess costs, time, and risks for projects.
• Prepare bids for vendors and report to clients and agencies.
• Stamp project plans and calculations.
