Lawrence Perry And Associates, Inc. (LPA) is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering high-performance, sustainable civil designs across California and Texas.

You will lead civil design efforts under PM/Director guidance, oversee schematic through construction documents, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to advance community-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience across all phases of civil engineering projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in California.
• Proficiency in CAD and Civil 3D.
• Strong technical knowledge of industry-standard engineering software.
• Enthusiasm for a multidisciplinary design process and collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to lead civil design efforts with guidance from Project Managers and Directors.

Responsibilities

• Partner with multidisciplinary project teams to plan, design, and develop civil engineering solutions.
• Contribute to overall project strategy, schedules, and coordination to support project success.
• Prepare and oversee documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Support construction administration efforts, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering technical growth and collaboration.
• Actively participate in professional organizations and contribute to the advancement of the profession.
