PEA Group in Auburn Hills, MI, is seeking a Project Engineer who leads a staff and collaborates with a Project Manager to plan, execute, and oversee civil engineering tasks on diverse site development projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, a Michigan P.E. license or ability to obtain, and at least 5 years of increasing responsibility with strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills. You will mentor junior engineers and interact with clients.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and Michigan PE license or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience showing progressively increasing responsibility.
• In-depth AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience for land development and related software.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a project team and report to a Project Manager, planning and overseeing tasks.
• Prepare analyses, designs, calculations, and reports for projects.
• Design grading and drainage for site improvements and utility piping systems.
• Perform hydrology and hydraulic calculations for piping systems and conveyances.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, specifications, proposals, and fee estimates.
• Support construction activities including RFIs, site visits, and submittals.
• Present project-specific or technical presentations to clients and staff.
• Mentor staff engineers and engage with public meetings as needed.
• Stay current on regulations and land use considerations.
