Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license in Michigan or ability to obtain one is required.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, 6+ years in senior/leadership roles.
• Proficiency in CAD/Civil 3D and other engineering tools.
• Strong knowledge of local/state regulations and practical project management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Develop and review designs, plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders for project success.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technical staff.
• Contribute to business development and maintain client relationships.
• Implement and maintain quality control processes.
• Present at board meetings and engage with community leaders and customers.
