Job summary

RICK Engineering Company in San Diego, CA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead multi-disciplinary teams on landmark regional projects. You will oversee design, scheduling, budgets, and client relations, delivering projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate holds a BSCE, California PE, 15+ years' relevant experience (or 18 years in the field), SD/CA experience preferred, and strong leadership, communication, and mentoring abilities; AutoCAD/Civil 3D proficiency required.

Qualifications

• BSCE degree required and CA Registered Professional Civil Engineer (PE).
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of directly relevant experience; or eighteen (18) years in the industry.
• Local San Diego County experience preferred.
• Ability to sustain positive client relationships and market services.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction bid documents and contracts.
• Oversee construction support and field coordination.
• Manage project schedules and budgets.
• Prepare contracts, write scopes of work and fee proposals for private land development and public works.
• Interact with private clients and public agencies.
