Job summary

Brown and Caldwell seeks two Senior Civil Engineers to lead high-performing Civil Engineering teams delivering water, wastewater, and remediation solutions across the West. These Senior Civil PDLs will oversee multi-office teams, manage workloads and staffing, and mentor engineers while driving project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years of civil design experience, PE licensure, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design.
• Professional Engineer licensure required.
• Typically progress through SMS competencies per BC framework.

Responsibilities

• Supervise design discipline employees and provide performance feedback.
• Coordinate with PMs/DMs on staffing, schedule, and scope adjustments.
• Represent discipline in delivery teams and contribute to sales efforts and proposals.
• Develop discipline scope, schedule, and effort estimates with PMs/DMs.
• Lead workload planning, mentorship, and performance management.
