Job summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking two Senior Civil Engineers to lead high-performing Civil Engineering teams delivering water, wastewater, and remediation solutions across the West. As Civil Portfolio Discipline Leaders, they will oversee groups across multiple offices, manage workload, and mentor staff.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, design management, and strong collaboration with Portfolio Chief Engineer to ensure quality and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of relevant design experience in civil engineering.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• Potential certification in SMS Framework expected in BC.

Responsibilities

• Supervise design discipline staff, provide feedback and development.
• Coordinate workload, staffing, and project assignments across multiple offices.
• Contribute technical input for sales efforts and proposals.
• Develop design scope, schedule, and effort estimates with PMs/DMs.
• Maintain workload tracking and ensure QA/QC adherence.
