Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager with a specialization in Power Generation and Transmission to join our collaborative teams in Houston, Dallas or Austin, Texas. The role leads design, permitting and client management for diverse power projects and contributes to the firm’s growth in the civil engineering market.

You will oversee site/civil efforts, lead BD activities, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, while ensuring quality, schedule and budget adherence across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 10+ years of site/civil engineering experience focused on land development for Power Generation and Transmission projects.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• Strong client development and management abilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Civil 3D preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead site/civil and multi-discipline efforts for power generation and transmission projects from concept through completion.
• Design and permit project sites including institutional, commercial, warehouse and mixed-use projects.
• Collaborate with office leadership to develop growth plans and ensure staff utilization.
• Participate in business development by developing new clients and maintaining existing relationships.
• Lead storm water management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis and SWPPP preparation.
• Demonstrate experience in land development engineering integrating geotechnical and environmental aspects.
