City of Scottsdale is seeking a Plans Examiner, SR – Civil to perform senior-level review of construction documents for compliance with codes, City standards, and applicable state and federal regulations. You will exercise independent judgment, coordinate corrections across departments, and communicate technical requirements to engineers, developers, and contractors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering or closely related field.
Three years of experience with construction plan review.
Equivalent combination of education and job related experience may substitute for education.

Responsibilities

Perform senior-level review of construction documents for compliance with adopted codes and City standards.
