Ideal candidates will be NC-licensed with a strong track record in civil litigation, from case evaluation through trial, and a willingness to work in a flexible hybrid setting with Asheville as home office.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and NC bar license.
• Strong civil litigation defense background preferred.
• Experience handling matters through all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a civil litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
• Develop and implement case strategies tailored to client objectives.
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts.
• Draft and argue motions, briefs, and other substantive filings.
• Represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups on complex matters.
• Mentor and support junior attorneys and contribute to practice growth.
