Qualifications

• 6+ years' civil litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong civil litigation procedures and court process knowledge.
• Experience supporting matters in state and federal courts.
• Proven discovery management experience.
• Proficiency with Westlaw and LexisNexis.
• Experience with e-filing systems and litigation case management software.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.
• Professionalism, discretion, and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Move civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Organize and maintain case files, pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and exhibits.
• Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents (complaints, answers, motions, subpoenas, declarations, settlements).
• Manage all discovery aspects (interrogatories, requests for production, admissions, document production).
• Conduct legal research and prepare summaries and memoranda.
• Coordinate electronic court filings and ensure court rule/deadline compliance.
• Maintain litigation calendars and track dates, hearings, depositions, deadlines.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, experts, vendors.
• Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and other events.
• Assist with trial prep (witness coordination, exhibits, trial binders, logistics).
• Track case expenses and support billing/reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and workflows.
