CyberCoders in Houston seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support attorneys handling complex personal injury matters. You will draft pleadings, manage discovery, and coordinate depositions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires civil litigation paralegal experience, ABA-approved certification or related degree, and strong communication and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail and confidentiality are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of civil litigation paralegal experience, preferably personal injury
• Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or a related Bachelor's degree
• Proficiency with legal research platforms and case management software

Responsibilities

• Draft, prepare, and file pleadings in accordance with court rules and deadlines
• Propound and manage discovery, including requests and responses
• Communicate with clients to obtain case information and documentation
• Review and organize case files, evidence, and discovery materials
• Draft and manage litigation-related documents (deposition notices, subpoenas, medical exam responses)
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial-related activities
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical case files
• Work with attorneys, clients, experts, witnesses, and other parties on case status
• Assist with expert designations and trial preparation
• Provide litigation and trial support including exhibit prep and courtroom assistance
