Jobot is seeking a seasoned Permanent Litigation Attorney in Phoenix, AZ to handle a broad civil defense portfolio, including insurance and general liability matters. The role requires a JD, Arizona bar admission, and at least five years of civil litigation experience.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Arizona State Bar is required.
• Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Proven experience in insurance defense, civil defense, liability defense, premises liability, general liability and auto liability.
• Strong arbitration, mediation, trial, and court appearance experience.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and negotiation abilities.
• Proven ability to draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Experience conducting and defending depositions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of civil litigation cases from inception to resolution.
• Represent clients in court, arbitration, and mediation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs with thorough legal research.
• Conduct and defend depositions and oral argument.
• Advise clients on legal rights, risks, and strategies.
• Interact with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable laws and precedents.
• Collaborate with the legal team for efficient case management.
