Job summary

Pape-Dawson seeks a Florida-licensed Project Manager for Civil Land Development in Fort Myers. You will lead projects from concept through construction, manage client relationships, schedules, and budgets, and coordinate with engineers, designers, and planners to deliver public and private developments in Southwest Florida.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of civil land development experience, strong communication, and a proven ability to mentor multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 7+ years of progressive civil land development experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and site utilities design.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil land development projects from initial concept through design, permitting, and construction.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables.
• Prepare and oversee engineering design calculations, construction plans, specifications, and technical reports.
• Manage site grading, stormwater management, drainage, utilities, and roadway improvements.
• Review and coordinate work prepared by project engineers, designers, and other team members.
• Develop project scopes, fee proposals, schedules, and budgets and monitor performance.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, surveyors, planners, and other consultants.
• Lead coordination with local, state, and federal agencies during permitting and approvals.
