Job summary

GHD in the United States is seeking a Civil Construction Cost Engineer with 5+ years of experience to prepare cost estimates for heavy civil, pipelines, transportation, treatment plants and marine projects across the Western Region and Pacific portfolio. Build accurate estimates using unit-priced and L-M-E methodologies, and perform constructability reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• Professional civil engineering license in a western state preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed estimates using unit-priced and L-M-E methodologies.
• Perform constructability reviews and identify cost-saving options.
• Prepare early-stage cost forecasts and feasibility budgets.
• Analyze design plans and project specifications for construction methods.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams.
