Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a Civil Preconstruction Estimator in Nashville, TN to lead our civil preconstruction department. You will analyze drawings, prepare detailed cost estimates, solicit subcontractor quotes, and present bids to senior management.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of civil estimation experience, proficiency with Bid-To-Win/HeavyBid/AutoCAD/AGTEK/Excel, and strong communication skills. Attractive compensation, annual bonus, and 401(k) with matching are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a civil estimator.
• Proven track record estimating a range of civil projects (excavation, sitework, utilities).
• Proficient in Bid-To-Win, HeavyBid, AutoCAD, AGTEK, Excel.

Responsabilités

• Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Orchestrate the estimating and bid processes for civil projects.
• Identify labor, materials, and time requirements by studying proposals and plans.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare bid packages and present final estimates to senior management.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when necessary.
• Provide value engineering recommendations.
• Maintain historical cost data and develop estimating templates and tools.
