Qualifications

• 5+ years of civil estimator experience.
• Proven track record with excavation, paving, grading.
• Proficiency with Excel, Bluebeam; HeavyBid and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings, specs to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Lead bid processes for public and private sector projects.
• Identify labor, materials, and time by studying plans.
• Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Prepare bid packages and present estimates to senior management.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Provide value engineering recommendations.
• Maintain cost data and develop estimating templates and tools.
• Mentor junior estimators and drive process improvements.
