Job summary

Milestone Contractors LP is seeking an Estimator in Indianapolis to generate and develop quotes for highway, bridge, asphalt and concrete paving projects. You will analyze drawings, specs and proposals to prepare accurate estimates and cost factors while coordinating with vendors and clients.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction management or related field and 3+ years in heavy highway/civil construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction management or related field.
• 3+ years in Heavy Highway/Civil/Asphalt Paving/Bridge construction or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer focus.
• Ability to work in a team and manage stress.

Responsibilities

• Generates and develops quotes.
• Analyzes blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare quotes/estimates.
• Computes various cost factors and prepares budgets.
• Sets up jobs in job costing and generates purchase orders and subcontractor agreements.
• Reviews billings, prepares change orders and job cost reports.
• Maintains communications with internal/external customers and promotes safety.
