Collective Efforts, LLC is seeking a senior Civil/Environmental Engineer with 10+ years of experience to join our Pittsburgh-area team. You will oversee projects in water resources and transportation, managing scope, budget, and schedules while mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate will design municipal infrastructure, prepare permits and cost proposals, and deliver QA/QC on project deliverables. Flexible work-from-home options are available and a license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Civil/Environmental Engineering (required).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsabilités

• Prepare technical and cost proposals.
• Design basic municipal infrastructure projects (site development, earthwork, sanitary sewers, stormwater, drainage).
• Prepare permit applications and design packages; assist with construction bid documents and cost estimates.
• Manage project schedules, budgets and scope; mentor junior staff.
• Provide QA/QC on project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and cost proposals
• Design basic municipal infrastructure projects such as
  • Site development plans
  • Earthwork and contouring
  • Sanitary sewers
  • Stormwater systems
  • Drainage Plans
• Prepare permit applications
• Prepare design packages and assist with preparing construction bid documents, reviewing submittals, and preparing cost estimates
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and scope of work in a team atmosphere and mentor junior staff
• Provide QA/QC on project deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering desired
• Must hold current state license or be willing to obtain
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and have a positive attitude
• Attention to details, time management, and organization
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation competency
• Experience with site grading, site design and associated permitting

HEC-RAS, HydroCAD Or Other Water Resource-related Programs Experience

• Fluent with Microsoft, Word, and Excel
