Collective Efforts, LLC is seeking an entry level Civil/Environmental Engineer to join our team in the water resources and transportation fields. The position offers exposure to major infrastructure projects and opportunities for growth.

Eligibility includes up to five years of experience, with flexible work-from-home options available, and a collaborative team environment that emphasizes professional development and practical design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required or desired.
• EIT certification or willingness to obtain is preferred.
• Strong communication, detail orientation, and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water and wastewater systems, municipal water, sewer, stormwater, highway, bridge, roadway, and airport projects.
• Field and office assignments.
• Conduct environmental sampling and reporting.
• Prepare permit applications for PADEP, Army Corps, PennDOT, and City of Pittsburgh.
• Technical writing.
• Conduct construction inspections.

You will get the opportunity to work in the water resources and transportation fields supporting some of the regions largest infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Preferred E.I.T. or willingness to obtain
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and have a positive attitude

• Ability to operate field instrumentation including water quality equipment and GPS
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation competency
• Experience with site grading, site design and associated permitting
• HEC-RAS, HydroCAD or other water resource-related programs experience
• GIS experience a plus
• Fluent with Microsoft, Word, and Excel
