Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering required or desired.
• Current state professional license or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in site grading, design and permitting processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and cost proposals.
• Design basic municipal infrastructure projects including site development, earthwork, sanitary sewers, stormwater systems, drainage plans.
• Prepare permit applications and design packages; assist with bid documents, submittals, and cost estimates.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and scope; mentor junior staff.
• Provide QA/QC on project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design packages and assist with preparing construction bid documents, reviewing submittals, and preparing cost estimates
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and scope of work in a team atmosphere and mentor junior staff
• Provide QA/QC on project deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in Civil or Environmental Engineering desired
• Must hold current state license or be willing to obtain
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and have a positive attitude
• Attention to details, time management, and organization
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation competency
• Experience with site grading, site design and associated permitting
• HEC-RAS, HydroCAD or other water resource-related programs experience
• Fluent with Microsoft, Word, and Excel
