Job summary
The San Antonio River Authority is seeking a civil/environmental engineer to perform analysis, design, and permitting for wastewater and civil projects. You will lead projects, coordinate with consultants, and guide staff to ensure successful delivery.
Responsibilities include designing and reviewing plans, budgets, and schedules; mentoring junior engineers; and presenting findings to stakeholders and agencies. Texas PE license is required, with ABET-accredited degree as a base qualification.
Qualifications
- ABET-accredited civil/environmental/agricultural engineering degree with six years of progressive experience.
- Graduate degree with emphasis in Civil/Environmental/Agricultural Eng; supervisory experience preferred.
- Professional Engineer license in the State of Texas.
Responsibilities
- Supervises a team of engineers and technicians, managing workload and development.
- Oversees quality assurance for design, construction oversight, and analysis.
- Performs engineering analyses, design and permitting for wastewater and civil projects.
- Develops plans, specifications and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
- Prepares presentations to stakeholders and regulatory agencies.
