Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 6–10 years of civil engineering experience, especially water/wastewater pipelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience with budget and cost estimates is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and prepare submittal reports.
• Review survey data, maps, drawings, and topographic data for planning.
• Perform design computations and develop construction cost estimates.
• Create and review contract plans and specifications for advertisement and construction.
• Attend client meetings and document minutes.
• Coordinate with other disciplines and ensure design scope alignment.
• Perform quality reviews per the Project Management Plan.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance within the department.
