Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Northeast Engineering Design Organization, based in Bloomsburg, PA, with flexibility to engage in projects across the globe. The role focuses on water, wastewater, utilities, and infrastructure design along with site development for municipal and private clients.

Expect travel to project sites and meetings as required. You will contribute to engineering design, standards, and project delivery while advancing knowledge and maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• Current Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain.
• At least 6 years of linear focused project experience in water, wastewater, utility or infrastructure design.
• Modeling capabilities required.
• Willing and able to travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design engineering solutions and validation to meet brief, standards, and cost targets.
• Contribute to analysis, drafting of engineering standards and specifications.
• Deliver small- to medium-scale projects within the program management plan.
• Specify methods and processes to design and improve manufacturing or process systems.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with contract service providers.
• Define and deliver products and services meeting customer needs within established systems.
• Work within knowledge management systems to deliver outcomes.
