Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license; travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience with heavy civil projects a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Ensures firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.
• Performs site reviews to ensure designs align with location specifications.
• Submits technical papers and designs for publishing or client review.
• Collaborates with sales staff to create proposals in response to RFPs.
• Mentors junior staff and provides technical guidance on projects.
