Job summary

CDM Smith seeks an experienced licensed engineer to design civil, environmental, or mechanical systems including water and stormwater projects. You will review designs for regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and help develop technical design documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional engineering (PE) license. 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
• Performs site reviews and studies to align designs with location specifications.
• Mentors junior staff and develops them for future growth.
• May supervise the work of junior engineers on project work.
• Collaborates with sales staff to create proposals in response to RFPs.
