Placements24 is seeking a proactive Civil Engineer to join a team focused on urban development and planning in the region. You will design roads, drainage, and public spaces, working with authorities, developers, and community stakeholders to balance development with environmental and social well-being.

You will collaborate on master planning and zoning considerations while ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with regulations. A strong background in CAD and GIS is essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience focused on urban development, planning, or land development.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and familiarity with GIS platforms.
• Strong understanding of stormwater management, road design, and land development principles.
• Experience in preparing planning submissions and engaging with municipal authorities.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Develop conceptual and detailed designs for urban infrastructure, including road networks and stormwater management.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and traffic impact analyses for new projects.
• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents for civil works components.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, urban planners, architects, and landscape designers for integrated solutions.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and local authorities to obtain approvals and permits.
• Contribute to master planning initiatives and provide input on zoning and land use planning.
