Job summary

Brighton Solutions is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer – Transportation to join our leadership team in St. Charles, IL.

The position offers direct hire, full-time employment with relocation assistance available for qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in roadway and rail infrastructure, Phase I/II projects, and a track record of project leadership and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• PE license required; Illinois licensure preferred or eligibility to obtain IL license.
• Experience leading civil/transportation projects including Phase I/II.
• Strong communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and transportation projects with emphasis on roadway and rail infrastructure.
• Manage Phase I and Phase II projects including PE studies, design, plans, specs, and estimates.
• Provide technical leadership in roadway design, traffic studies, drainage, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate activities with agencies, municipalities, railroads, and clients.
• Mentor staff and contribute to business development and client meetings.
• Work with Chief Civil Engineer to prepare for leadership transition.
