Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead Civil Engineer in Denver to provide technical leadership and discipline oversight for complex civil projects. You will mentor design staff and ensure projects meet client requirements, codes, and budgets from conception to closeout.

The successful candidate will lead design development, perform technical reviews, and coordinate with structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure quality and constructability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with demonstrated project leadership.
Experience serving as Lead Civil Engineer or similar technical leadership role.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
Ability to mentor engineers and designers and provide technical direction.
Proficiency with civil design and documentation software.

Responsibilities

Serve as the Lead Civil Engineer and technical authority for assigned projects.
Provide technical leadership and oversight to civil engineers, designers, and staff.
Lead development and review of civil designs, calculations, specifications, and reports.
Ensure deliverables comply with codes, regulations, client requirements, and standards.
Mentor junior and senior engineering staff and provide guidance.
Coordinate civil activities with other disciplines and stakeholders.
Support proposals, staffing plans, and project development activities.
Manage scope, schedule, and budget for civil discipline.
