The City of Surprise Public Works Department seeks a Civil Engineer-Senior to advance drainage analysis, drainage report review, and stormwater management within the Engineering Development Review division. You will lead development reviews, stamp plans, and mentor staff while coordinating with city departments and the development community.

Ideal candidates hold a PE license, a Civil Engineering degree, and at least four years of professional experience, with three years in land development

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in AZ or reciprocity required.
• Minimum 4 years of civil engineering experience; 3 years in land development design/review.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct development reviews of complex land development and CIP projects with cross-functional coordination.
• Review, interpret, and stamp engineering plans; ensure drainage and flood mitigation compliance.
• Mentor and train junior staff; communicate requirements clearly to stakeholders.
