Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer to join its Bethlehem, PA team. This role supports planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects across mixed-use developments and higher education campuses.

You will work on site/civil design in a continuous learning environment, applying AutoCAD and Civil 3D, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, practical solutions and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• EIT certification is required; PE certification is preferred.
• 3+ years of site/civil design experience including site planning, grading, drainage and stormwater management.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D; strong communication and teamwork.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and modification of reports, plans, specifications, and construction schedules using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
• Analyze soil, terrain, hydrology and topography to inform planning and design.
• Familiarity with local, state and federal land use permitting is a plus.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as requested.
