Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team in Southern California. This role will provide planning, design, and permitting for civil, land development, and infrastructure projects across mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, federal, and other sites.

You will gain hands-on site/civil design experience with opportunities to grow in a dynamic environment while working with AutoCAD and Civil 3D tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• EIT certification; PE preferred.
• 3+ years of site/civil design experience including site planning, grading, drainage, and storm water.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to collaborate in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and modification of reports, plans, specifications, schedules, cost estimates and design plans.
• Analyze maps, drawings, and topo data to inform planning and design decisions.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks.
• Perform other duties as requested.
