Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer to join its collaboration-driven team in Parsippany, NJ. You will lead planning, design, and permitting of civil, land development, and infrastructure projects, gaining exposure to mixed-use developments, shopping centers, residential, higher education, and federal work.

This role emphasizes mentoring staff and coordinating across disciplines. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in environmental investigations/remediation, PE/PG, and strong client

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or Science; Master’s degree preferred.
• EPA, CERCLA, and RCRA regulations knowledge required.
• 10+ years of environmental investigations/remediation experience.
• PG or PE license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses for portions of environmental and engineering projects.
• Develop new work with clients and participate in business development meetings.
• Oversee junior staff, coach, and recruit staff for Environmental projects.
• Supervise field activities, ensure data collection and lab analyses meet budget and schedule.
• Deliver multiple projects within budgets and deadlines, prepare reports and invoices.
