Job summary

Langan is seeking a Staff Civil Engineer to join its Celina, TX team. You will assist with planning, design and permitting of civil, land development and infrastructure projects, gaining hands-on experience across mixed-use developments, shopping centers and educational facilities.

The role emphasizes collaboration, attention to detail and applying engineering principles, with opportunities for growth through training, mentoring and exposure to AutoCAD and Civil 3D workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; FE/EIT certification preferred.
• Entry to 2 years experience in site/civil design.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with occasional evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, design and permitting of civil/site projects.
• Prepare reports, plans, specs, schedules, cost estimates and design plans.
• Assess soil, terrain, hydrology and topography for design impacts.
• Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
• Apply engineering principles and mathematics to project tasks.
• Collaborate with team members and perform other duties as needed.
