Job summary

Langan is seeking a Senior Staff Civil Engineer to join its collaborative team in Austin, TX. The role focuses on planning, design, and permitting of civil, land development, and infrastructure projects, with opportunities in mixed-use, shopping centers, residential, higher education, and federal work.

You will contribute to site/civil engineering design in a continuous learning environment while collaborating with professionals across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification required or PE preferred.
• 3+ years of site/civil design experience including planning, grading, drainage, and storm water management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and modification of engineering documents using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software.
• Analyze soil, terrain, hydrological data to inform planning and design decisions.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal land use permitting is a plus.
• Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.
• Perform other duties as needed.
