Job summary

LPD Engineering, a Seattle-based civil site development firm, seeks a mid-level Civil Engineer (5–9 years) to join our team. You will lead site planning, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design, develop CAD/Civil 3D deliverables, and support permitting and project coordination for public and private clients across Western Washington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• 5–9 years of progressively responsible civil site development experience.
• PE license in Washington or ability to obtain; knowledge of local permitting regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead site planning, grading, drainage, utilities, stormwater management, and other site infrastructure design.
• Develop and review civil engineering plans and construction documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with permitting agencies and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Manage small to mid-size projects including scope, budget, and schedule; provide client liaison and QA/QC.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development and client relationship building.
