Job summary

LPD Engineering, a Seattle-based civil engineering firm, seeks an experienced Senior Project Manager / Professional Engineer to lead a diverse portfolio of site development projects across Western Washington. You will provide technical leadership for grading, drainage, stormwater, utilities, and access improvements, while coordinating with engineers, consultants, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Ten or more years of progressive experience in civil site development engineering.
• Experience managing civil site development projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction.
• Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, erosion and sediment control, and site access improvements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop scopes of work, fee proposals, schedules, and execution plans.
• Lead civil site development projects from concept through closeout while managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Provide technical leadership for grading, drainage, stormwater management, utilities, erosion control, and site access improvements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, permitting agencies, consultants, and contractors.
• Mentor junior engineers and support staff; contribute to internal standards and processes.
• Identify opportunities for improved delivery, profitability, and client experience.
