Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required or ability to obtain.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in design/construction.
• Experience with site development and client management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and grading tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates and drainage studies.
• Coordinate with agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit applications.
• Prepare grading plans, profiles, and road designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research regulatory requirements and design standards.
• Perform calculations for storm water facilities, utilities, and roadways.
• Work with drafters and staff to complete projects on schedule and within budget.
• Develop site plans for residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects.
• Update and manage spreadsheets, memos, and internal project administration.
• Support project administration: setup numbers, billing reports, contracts, invoices.
• Attend meetings to review progress and capture action items.
• Other duties as assigned.
