Mainframe Solutions in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Civil Engineer Project Manager (Land Development) to lead planning, design and delivery of private subdivision and land development projects. The role requires PE licensure and strong client management, schedules and budgets.

The position is office-based in Doylestown with a flexible work model. Salary ranges from $110,000 to $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience, and requires about 5–7+ years of civil engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an active PE license.
• Approximately 5 to 7+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Experience designing private subdivision or land development projects for private clients.
• Strong site planning and civil design knowledge; experience managing project schedules and budgets.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple projects and represent the firm externally.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering and land development projects from planning through final design and construction; manage schedules, budgets, technical deliverables and client expectations.
• Own project quality, technical accuracy and delivery; coordinate internal staff and external stakeholders.
• Provide design leadership: site layouts, roadway alignments, grading plans, stormwater management and BMP layouts; review sketches, calculations and plans.
• Perform site feasibility and due diligence; review zoning ordinances and municipal regulations; support permitting and approvals.
• Develop practical solutions for challenging projects; conceptualize design alternatives and flag issues early.
• Maintain relationships with private sector clients; represent the firm with clients, attorneys, developers, municipalities and regulators.
• Lead and mentor Engineers, Designers and CADD Technicians.
