Civil Engineer Project Manager (Land Development)

Experience: approximately 5-7+ years (flexible for strong candidates outside this range)

License: active Professional Engineer (PE) license required, Pennsylvania PE preferred

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and an active PE license.
• About 5-7+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Experience designing private subdivision or land development projects, and servicing private clients and/or managing infrastructure projects.
• Strong site planning and civil design knowledge; experience managing project schedules and budgets.
• AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple projects and represent the firm externally.

Strong Plus

• Pennsylvania PE license; experience giving public testimony before Land Use Boards.
• Experience managing private-sector land development projects and coordinating with developers, attorneys, municipalities and regulators.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Certifications: Certified Municipal Engineer (CME), Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), Professional Planner (PP).
• GIS, Hydroflow, stormwater modeling and drainage design tools.
