Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a senior engineer to design and review site layouts, hydraulics, storage tanks, and related water infrastructure. You will ensure designs comply with federal, state, and local regulations and mentor junior staff across projects.

You will collaborate with sales on proposals, attend conferences, and contribute to technical papers while advancing firm capabilities and client outcomes. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering.
• PE license required; 7 years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel domestically and/or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Create and sign off on basic to highly complex engineering designs including site layout, hydraulics, and water infrastructure.
• Review designs for compliance with Federal, state, and local regulations.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff and mentor engineers.
