EMH&T, based in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Civil Engineer, PE to join our Transportation Planning and Design team. You will collaborate with the project team to develop creative solutions addressing client needs and construction challenges.

Responsibilities include highway design, drainage design, plan reviews, and coordination with agencies and utilities. Requires a BS in civil engineering, roadway design experience, and Microstation/Open Roads/Geopak proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
• Experience in roadway design and ODOT plan preparation.
• Hands-on design and drafting using Microstation/Open Roads/Geopak.
• Working knowledge of roadway vertical/horizontal geometry per ODOT and AASHTO, drainage design, BMPs, and common constructability issues.

Responsibilities

Job description

EMH&T is currently seeking a Civil Engineer, PE to join our Transportation Planning and Design team located in Columbus, OH.
Our Engineers collaborate with the project team to develop creative solutions to address client needs and solve design and construction challenges that may arise.

Responsibilities

Work includes design or redesign of highways/roadways, interchange design, drainage design, plan reviews, and coordination with public regulatory agencies and utility companies. You will gain experience on a vast array of projects, including large-scale roadway design projects and city/township/county projects, offering a wide variety of scope.
