Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Civil Engineer for the Land Development team to design, build, and activate infrastructure for Starlink production facilities. This hands-on role focuses on heavy civil and utility components and requires collaboration with project managers, facility engineers, designers, vendors, and internal clients to deliver projects from start to finish.

Bachelor's degree required in civil engineering or related field.
1+ years of professional experience in civil engineering design, analysis, and drafting.

Responsibilities

Develop and issue drawings, design documentation, and reports for land development projects.
Perform calculations for grading and drainage, stormwater control facilities, water quality, and utilities.
Drive coordination and design to obtain local, state, and federal permits for land development and utility construction.
Manage civil aspects of construction projects in the field, including quality control and contractor coordination.
Interact with contractors, vendors, owners, and internal clients to develop project requirements, schedules, and cost estimates.
Resolve design and construction conflicts in real time.
